Welcome to it’s Time 4 Baseball.  Our blog is about the passion of the game and sharing what we have witnessed with other baseball enthusiasts over the years.  Our parents introduced the greatest game to us-and now we are passing it on to our kids.

Whenever you get an opportunity to meet a baseball Hall of Famer-do it!  Don’t miss out on the chance.  My family and I attended the 1979 All-Star Game at the Kingdome in Seattle, WA.  We even stayed in the same hotel that all the ball players were at-the Washington Plaza-which is now the Westin.

We had the fortune of meeting Carl Hubbell-”King Carl” “The Meal Ticket” and President Gerald Ford.  Our program is packed with autographs of the All-Stars that were at the 1979 game.  On our way to the All-Star game festivities-we gave Darrell Porter a ride to the Kingdome.
